Royal Arms
The new Royal Arms coin from the Royal Mint. This coin is 1oz of pure 24-carat gold, refined at the Royal Mint's plant in South Wales. This coin, like Britannias, has a face value of £100 and is both CGT exempt and VAT Free.

The Royal Arms design for this coin was produced by artist Timothy Noad, who has produced several coin designs for the Royal Mint during his distinguished career. This design was first used in 2015 for a £1 coin issued by the Mint, but other designs of his include the 2002 Jubilee Sovereign and the 2005 St George Sovereign.
