The 2021 half ounce American gold Eagle is the main gold bullion coin of the United States.
The obverse design features Lady Liberty with flowing hair holding a torch and olive branch. It was originally produced by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the US Mint’s limited edition Double Eagle coins in the early 1900s. The reverse of the coin is the classic design by Miley Tucker-Frost of a male eagle returning to a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings which has been featured on the eagle gold coin since its introduction in 1986.
The half oz gold Eagle coin is struck in 22 carat gold (.9167) and contains 15.55 grams of pure gold, it is official legal tender in the United States of America, with a value of $25. By law, the gold must be sourced from American mines.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.
Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
