The 2026 1/4oz Australian Kangaroo Gold Nugget Coin is an Australian gold coin, minted by the Perth Mint. The weight of the coin is 7.8 grams with a fineness of 999.9 (24 carat gold), this means it contains 7.77587 grams of pure gold. The diameter of the coin is 21 mm. The 1/4oz Gold Kangaroos have a face value of 25 Dollars and are legal tender in Australia.

The reverse of the 2026 Kangaroo 1/4oz gold coin features two kangaroos hopping across water, with ripples and a mountain landscape in the background, designed by Neil Hollis. A special '40' privy mark denotes 40 years since the introduction of the 'Australian Nugget' series by Perth Mint. The obverse shows the coins face value, and the Dan Thorne effigy of King Charles III.

Produced by Perth Mint, each 2026 Australian Kangaroo 1/4oz gold coin features a micro-laser engraved letter as a security feature, visible only with magnification, and has a maximum coin mintage of 150,000.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
