This proof £2 gold coin was struck to celebrate 100 years since the Armistice of the First World War. The reverse features the quote 'The truth untold, the pity of war' from the haunting poem 'Strange meeting' by Wilfred Owen, while the obverse of the coin bears the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.

The two pound gold coin - sometimes referred to as the Double Sovereign - contains 14.63 grams of gold (twice the weight of a Sovereign).

This coin is provided in a plastic capsule with no box or certificate.

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
