2016 - Gold £5 Proof Coin James Butler Effigy NGC PF69

This 2016 gold proof £5 Quintuple Sovereign coin features the Limited Release portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by James Butler that does not appear on any circulating coinage. This proof coin has been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity.

Graded to PF69 (FDC). A fully struck coin with nearly imperceptible imperfections.
