This coin weighs the same as a regular (bullion) Sovereign, at 7.98 grams, and is struck from 22-carat gold (91.67% fineness). Making the 2020 Proof Sovereign extra special; the original tools of master medallist Benedetto Pistrucci have been digitally scanned, and the classic design remastered, adding extra detail and ensuring accuracy to the original Sovereign coin.

Commemorating 200 years since the death of King George III, the 2020 Sovereign also features the late King's 'Royal Cypher' to the left of the date. All of this promises to make this years coin unique, and a great addition to any collection.
