Description

The Royal Mint 2020 Lunar Year of the Rat One Ounce Gold Coin. This is part of a series of coins produced by the Royal Mint to celebrate the Lunar new year. Each year features a cycle of twelve animals - 2020 is the turn of the Rat.

Designed by Irish illustrator P.J Lynch, this coin contains exactly one ounce of fine gold 24 carat. It has a face value of £100 and is usually provided in a plastic capsule - multiples may be provided in a tube. As British currency, it also carries the advantage of being CGT exempt for British investors.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
