2023 Gold Britannia Coin 1oz Coronation

This sought-after coin, recognized and trusted worldwide, features a crowned portrait of the new King, designed by Martin Jennings. The 2023 King Charles III 1oz Britannia gold coin is composed of 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) of pure gold and carries a face value of £100.

Since 2021, the 1oz gold Britannia coins have featured advanced security measures developed by The Royal Mint. These include micro-detail waves in the coin's background, intricate line work detailing on Britannia's shield, additional Latin text on the inner rim, and a changing hologram depicting a padlock and trident.
