Description

The 2023 Yale of Beaufort 1/4oz gold coin is the second bullion release in the Royal Tudor Beasts Collection from The Royal Mint. Like the Queen's Beasts series, the collection will feature 10 'Beasts', this time consisting of statues that line the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court.

A 'Yale' is a mythical beast found in European mythology and the imagery was used by the Beaufort family during the fifteenth century. The black-coloured Yale (aka Centicore) has long and flexible horns, which can be moved independently of each other. It is the size of a horse with an elephant's tail. The Yale symbolises a proud defence.

The 2023 Tudor Yale gold coin contains 0.25 troy ounces of pure 999.9 gold. The coin will be in production for several months until the next coin in the series is released, so collectors should purchase as soon as possible if they wish to get all coins in the series.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
