The second release in the 'Myths & Legends' series from The Royal Mint celebrating the great and the good of British folklore is the 2023 Maid Marian 10oz silver coin.

Following on from the Robin Hood coin, this depiction of Marian with bow and a quiver full of arrows is once again designed by Jody Clark who was the chief designer with the Mint. With 10oz of silver and a diameter of 89 mm this is a great way to enjoy the stunning detail of this design with greater clarity.The 2023 Maid Marian coin is 999.9 pure and contains exactly ten troy ounces of silver.

As we know from other coin sizes in this Myths and Legends range the next 10oz silver coin will feature Little John, concluding the mini-series of releases surrounding the fabled Robin Hood, before moving on to the three coins depicting characters from the legends of King Arthur.
