Description

A very collectable, hammered Gold Franc a'pied of King Charles V of France. Struck between the years 1364 to 1380, the obverse features Charles V standing beneath a gothic dias with clusters of "Lis" either side. The reverse shows cross fleuree' with crowns in the angles.

Obverse
Charles V standing forward with sword and hand of justice, beneath a Gothic dais, flanked by clusters of lis to either side. KAROLVS DI GR FRAnCORV REX.

Reverse
Cross fleuree with crowns and lis in the angles, all within a quadrilobe with lis in spandrels.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.
