Description

This coin was struck to celebrate the London Rio Olympic Handover Ceremony in 2012. It features a baton being passed between hands and has the inscription LONDON 2012 RIO 2016 in reference to most recent Olympic host city and the next.

The Two Pound Gold Coin - sometimes referred to as the Double Sovereign - contains 14.63 grams of gold (twice the weight of a Sovereign).

The obverse (front) of the coin bears the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
