Description

The 1988 Two Pound Gold Proof Coin boxed - sometimes referred to as the Double Sovereign - contains 14.63 grams of gold (twice the weight of a Sovereign). This 22 carat gold coin comes with box and certificate.

The front of the coin features the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf, while the back of the coin sports the traditional St George and the dragon design, created in 1817 by Benedetto Pistrucci.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
