The 2024 Year of the Dragon 1/10oz gold coin from the Perth Mint celebrates the Chinese Lunar Year of the Dragon. It features a stylized Chinese mythical dragon on the reverse, symbolizing control over the elements, accompanied by the character for 'dragon,' the inscription 'DRAGON 2024,' and a 'P125' mintmark for The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.

On the obverse, the coin displays the Jody Clark Memorial Obverse of Queen Elizabeth II, including the dates of her reign from '1952-2022,' along with details like the coin’s weight, purity, and monetary denomination. As an added security measure, the 1oz coin integrates a micro-laser engraved letter 'P' for authentication, making counterfeiting significantly more challenging.

The dragon, the fifth animal in the lunar zodiac, is believed to bestow qualities like bravery, ambition, intelligence, and good fortune on those born in its years—1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, and 2024. This tenth ounce gold coin contains 3.11g of fine, 999.9 gold, with a face value of 15 Australian Dollars. The smaller size is an excellent way to buy one of these beautiful coins at a lower cost.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
