A brand new 2022 half ounce South African Krugerrand gold coin.
The gold Krugerrand has been the premier global one ounce gold coin since it's introduction in 1967. Thanks to its success the half ounce gold Krugerrands were introduced in 1980 and have been manufactured with the same specifications and design ever since.
The South African 1/2oz Krugerrand is minted in a 22 carat gold copper alloy per tradition, making it much more resistant to scratches compared to coins minted in pure gold. Because of this the coin weighs more than a 1/2 troy ounce (16.96 grams) so that it contains exactly a 1/2 troy ounce (15.5515 grams) of fine gold.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.
Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
