2022 Gold Britannia Coin 1oz PCGS MS69

A 2022 Britannia 1oz gold coin from The Royal Mint, graded to MS69 FDC (Fleur de Coin). A fully struck coin with nearly imperceptible imperfections.

A British bullion gold coin first introduced in 1987 with a face value of £100 as a 22 carat coin. Since 2012, the Britannia is now a fine gold coin made in 24 carat.

The 2022 1oz gold Britannia features the fifth and final portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, first introduced in 2015. It was designed by The Royal Mint's own engraver, Jody Clark, and - like the third portrait - sees the Queen wearing the King George IV State Diadem. This is the crown that is typically worn for the annual State Opening of Parliament.
