2016 brought the Year of the Monkey, and with it this third coin in a series of 12 Lunar coins released by the Royal Mint as part of the Shēngxiào collection.
Proof coins are struck multiple times to ensure far more detail is imparted to the coin.
Designed by British Chinese artist Wuon-Gean Ho and struck in 999.9 gold, this coin contains exactly one ounce of fine gold 24 carat. It has a face value of £100 and is provided boxed with certificate.

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.
Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
