A brand new 2017 Gold Sovereign.

The George and Dragon design on the Sovereign has been used for 200 years - the 2017 Sovereign celebrates this with the addition of a '200' mark on the bottom left hand side of the coin. The Proof version of the 2017 Sovereign is a different this year, in that it is a replica of the 1887 Sovereign, so two Sovereign designs exist this year.

Gold Sovereigns are one of the most investable and recognisable gold coins in the world - first minted over 530 years ago and used as British currency ever since. The 2017 Sovereign coin is 7.988 grams of 22-karat gold. Our supply of coins come direct from the Royal Mint.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
