The Dos Pesos coin is a gold coin produced by the Mexican Mint between 1919 and 1920, and again between 1944 and 1948, though there are no known examples of the 1948 coin.

The Mexican Mint in La Casa de Moneda de México, Mexico City is the oldest mint in all of the Americas – founded in 1535 by the Spanish colonists. Coin production is limited to the city of San Luis Potosí since 1983, which includes the modern 90s and 2000s restrikes of the 1945 Dos Pesos coins.

The front or obverse of the coin bears the Mexican coat of arms. The reverse of the gold coin features the year of production and the coin's value, wrapped up by a garland wreath.
