2016 30g Chinese Panda Gold Coin

The 2016 30 Gram Panda is a Chinese gold coin, minted by the China Gold Coin Incorporation. The weight of the coin is 30 grams with a fineness of 999.9 (24 carat gold), this means it contains 30 grams of pure gold. The diameter of the coin is 32 mm. The 30g Gold Pandas have a face value of 500 Yuan and are legal tender in China.

The obverse of the 2016 Chinese Panda 30g depicts the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The Chinese characters for the People's Republic of China and year of issue can also be seen.

The inscription on the coin reads '中华人民共和国', which translates to ' People's Republic of China'.

The reverse of the 2016 30 Gram Gold Panda depicts a panda climbing a branch against a bamboo background. The weight and purity of the coin, as well as its face value of 500 Yuan, are also visible.
