2005 Gold Half Sovereign Elizabeth II Fourth Head

The 2005 Half Sovereign is a British gold coin, minted by the Royal Mint. The sculptor's initials, ‘IRB’, are visible at the bottom of the head.

The reverse of the 2005 Gold Half Sovereign presents a modern interpretation of Saint George and the Dragon to mark the Queen's Jubilee. The design is by Timothy Noad, and the sculptor's initials, T.N., and the year of issue are located next to the dragon's wing.
