Description

A Sudanese 100 Pounds gold coin. This coin was issued in 1976 only. Fewer than 1,000 bullion coins were minted and fewer than 275 proof editions issued.

The 100 Sudanese Pounds coin was minted to .900 fineness and weighs 33.437 grams. It features the emblem of Sudan on the obverse and a Scimitar Oryx, a type of antelope native to north Africa, on the reverse.
