This Proof fifty pence coin was created by The Royal Mint to celebrate fifty years from 'decimal day' - Monday 15 February 1971, when the UK moved from Pounds, Shillings and Old Pence to the decimal system we know today.

The 2021 Decimal Day Proof fifty pence coin weighs 15.5 grams, and is struck in 22 carat gold. It comes in a beautiful presentation box, complete with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet on the history of decimalisation.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
