Description

One ounce Elephant Big Five gold coin from the South African Rand Refinery.

The Rand Mint has a history of producing beautiful coins themed on the wildlife of Africa with this series depecting the 'big five' animals which hunters considered the most prestigious targets - the Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo.

This year the coin features the African elephant, the obverse presents a beautiful elephant coming towards us, with a large detailed trunk and tusks. Beneath this is the text 'SOUTH AFRICA - BIG FIVE 2022'' and the South African coat of Arms. On the reverse is an even more interesting image showing a close-up of two elephants faces with a central circle giving the value, weight and purity (999.9).

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
