The Royal Tudor Beasts series from The Royal Mint continues with the 2025 Greyhound of Richmond 1oz platinum coin. As the seventh bullion entry in the collection, this coin pays tribute to one of the ten heraldic beasts that stand guard over Hampton Court Palace. These symbolic figures were commissioned by Henry VIII and represent key familial and dynastic connections. The Greyhound of Richmond was adopted to honour Henry's Lancastrian heritage and has long been associated with loyalty, courage, and obedience.

The reverse design of the 2025 Tudor Greyhound 1oz platinum coin, by David Lawrence, presents a stylised and energetic portrayal of the greyhound, standing proud and dignified against a background of animated detailing. This surface animation effect not only enhances the visual complexity of the coin but also serves as a built-in security feature, reflecting The Royal Mint's integration of tradition and innovation.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
