The Two Pound Gold Coin - sometimes referred to as the Double Sovereign - contains 14.63 grams of gold (twice the weight of a Sovereign).

Charles Darwin was born in Shewsbury, near Birmingham, in 1809. He was originally educated to become a religious minister, but found he was deeply interested in natural history. This gold coin commemorates the 200th anniversary of his birth and also the 150th anniversary of the publication of 'On the Origin of the Species by means of Natural Selection'.

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
