Charles Babbage was an inventor, philosopher, mathematician and engineer who, through his development of the 'difference engine', is credited as the father of modern computing.
This 2021 Babbage Proof fifty pence coin weighs 15.5 grams, and is struck with 22 carat gold. The coin is beautifully presented in its original box, and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
A very limited run of only 250 coins were ever minted.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.
Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
