Description

A 2020 Gold Proof Half Sovereign, presented in a Royal Mint box. Only 2,500 of these proof coins exist, of which we have a very limited supply.

Like all Sovereigns, the 2020 Proof Half Sovereign is struck in 22-carat and contains 3.657 grams of gold.

The obverse design - indicated by the initials BP - is the traditional scene of St George slaying the dragon, as designed by Benedetto Pistrucci. The reverse is Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II - her fifth and likely final official coin portrait.

This Half Sovereign comes in a resplendent presentation box, complete with an official certificate of authenticity.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
