Description

A four coin proof set issued by the Royal Mint for the Solomon Islands to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Guadalcanal. It features 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz coins. Limited to 500 sets. Boxed with certificate.

The 1oz coin shows the USS San Francisco, an American heavy carrier, in flames after a Japanese plane crashed into the aft section.

The 1/2 oz coin shows US forces landing at Guadalcanal on 7th August 1942.

The 1/4 oz coin shows US forces advancing through the jungle.

The 1/10th oz coin shows US forces defending Henderson airfield.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
