A beautiful 2024 Britannia proof silver 5oz coin minted to a mirror like finish and presented in a Royal Mint box.

The 2024 Britannia features an exciting new design by artist Marie-Alice Harel. Lady Britannia was first featured on British coins in around 119AD under Emperor Hadrian and this design with the iconic Roman helmet featured prominently is a homage to that long history. Britannia is featured with her face in profile looking out at the oncoming waves which merge seamlessly into the helmet's crest in a representation of Lady Britannia, and Britain’s, long and historic connection to the sea.

Minted to proof standard using 999 fine silver and with a limited production run of only 550. The coin is presented in a beautiful box and comes with a booklet that explores the story of Britannia and the inspiration behind Harel's design. This makes the 2024 Britannia 5oz silver proof coin not only a beautiful piece of art but also a fascinating insight into Britain's maritime history.

Fully Insured Delivery

Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the United States under $500 will be sent with the Royal Mail International Service, while anything between $500-$2,000 will be sent with FedEx. Orders greater than $2,000(up to $40,000) will be sent by UPS.

Delivery is free and fully insured, but there is a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders over 1.6kg will be sent via UPS,with a 3-4 day delivery estimate (subject to change due toCovid-19). Royal Mail orders can be upgraded to FedEx for quicker shipping.
