This is the 1849 20 French Francs gold coin. This version has the image of Ceres - the Goddess of agriculture and the reverse has the value and year surrounded by a wreath. The reverse has the value and year surrounded by a wreath. The text reads LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE and REPUBLIC FRANCAISE. The "A" mint mark indicates that the coin was minted in Paris.

Graded to AU53 GVF (Good Very Fine). Slight wear on more than 50% of the design. Full details except for very minor softness on the high points.
